 beautiful—more beautiful—most beautiful

一、规则变化：
1、一般直接在词尾加er; est
e.g. long—longer--longest    fast—faster--fastest
2、以字母e结尾的直接加 r; st
e.g. nice—nicer—nicest     safe—safer—safest
3、以辅音字母加y结尾的，要变y为i再加er; est
e.g. heavy—heavier—heaviest      busy—busier--busiest
4、以重读闭音节结尾且末尾只有一个辅音字母的，要双写末尾的辅音字母再加 er; est.
e.g. thin—thinner—thinnest      fat—fatter—fattest
5、多音节形容词或部分双音节词变比较级在前面加more,最高级在前加most
但“形 + ly ”构成的副词除外
如：quickly—more quickly—most quickly

比较级前可用表示程度的副词修饰，如much, a little, even, far ，a bit , ,a lot,, four years old等
