词组例析
be born 出生。如:I was born in November,1990.
have a birthday party (for sb) 为---举行一个生日聚会。如:My parents had a birthday party for me.
be afraid害怕。如:I’m afraid he can’t come. / I’m afraid the teacher is angry.
buy----for---为---买。如:She wants to buy a dress for her daughter.
play the guitar / play soccer 弹吉他/踢足球。 注意:乐器前必须加the,球类前不加冠词。
dance the disco 跳迪斯科。如:The young like dancing the disco.
perform ballet 表演芭蕾。如:The girl performed ballet very well.
too 也。注意:表示“也”有三个。Too放肯定句末,also放肯定句中,eihter放否定句末。
take----to---把---待到---  如:The mother took her son to the hospital.
It’s time for 是该做---时了。如:It’s time for class.=It’s time to have class.
be good at 擅长--- 如:Jim is good at swimming.
do well in 干得好  如:Jim does well in swimming.
have a good time=enjoy oneself 玩得高兴。如:The children had a good time in the park.
at the age of 在---岁时  如:Tom could speak Chinese when he was five years.
not----any more 不再—如:She can’t see anything any more.
with one’s help 在某人的帮助下。同义with the help of sb. 如:With Mary’s help he finished his work.
at the party 在聚会上。 如:They had a good time at the party.
recite a Chinese poem朗诵一首汉语诗。如:Linda recited a Chinese poem at Jane’s birthday party.
perform magic tricks 表演魔术。如:He can perform magic tricks well.
What about--- ---怎么样? 如:What about going shopping?
hurt oneself 伤了某人自己。 如:Did you hurt yourself?
at once 立刻。 如:Please wash your hands at once.
tell a lie 说谎。 如:Don’t tell a lie to your parents.
blow----out 把---吹灭。
in one breath 一口气。如:I blew the candles out in one breath.
重点语法
基数词变序数词的规则及日期的表达方法。
基数词:one, two, three---
序数词:first, second, third, fourth,----
基数词变序数词口诀:一二三要强记,八加h九去e;五和十二变ve,ty中y变ie;
后加th别忘记,若是遇到几十几,只变个位就可以。
       日期表达法:1937年7月7日(July 7th, 1937---July seventh, nineteen thirty-seven)
表示能力的情态动词can和其过去式could的用法.
I can / could dance the disco.
I can / couldn’t sing Chinese songs.
Can you sing an English song? Of course, I can / No, I can’t
What else can you do?
选择疑问句的特点及回答。
Can you dance the disco or perform ballet?    I can dance the disco
一般过去时的用法。
       表示过去某个事件发生的动作或存在的状态,常与a minute ago, yesterday, last year, just now, in 1998等表示过去的时间壮语连用;也表示过去经常或反复发生的动作。
       如:When was he born?   He was born in June, 1996.
           I missed the chair and fell down.
           I didn’t play video games at all.
           Did you sing a song at the party?   Yes, I did / No, I didn’t.
重点句型
1.When was he born?      He was born in June, 1986.
问出生的时间用过去时,疑问词用when。
2.Where was he born?      He was born in Maryland, the U.S. S.
问出生的地点用过去时,疑问词用where。
3.What’s the date today?     It’s May 8th.
询问日期用此句型。
4.What’s the shape of your present?      It’s round.
此句型用来询问事物的形状。
5.What shape is it now?      It’s a circle / a square
6.How long / wide is it?      It’s 24/6.4centimeters long/wide.
问一个物体多长、多宽用此句型。回答时常用“数词+量词+相应的形容词”。
7.What do we use it for?     We use it to keep pencils, rulers----
这个句型用来问事物的用途。
8.I can dance the disco.      I can’t sing Chinese songs.
Can 是个情态动词,表示“能,会”后跟动词原形,否定形式后加not。
9.Can you sing an English song?    Of course I can. / No, I can’t.
Can 的疑问句形式把can提前。
10.She could draw very well---      He couldn’t do it last year.
Could是can 的过去式。否定形式为couldn’t。
11.Can you dance the disco or perform ballet?    I can dance the disco.
选择疑问句后用or连接。回答时选择其一。
12.Did you sing a song at the party?    Yes, I did / No, I didn’t
过去式的一般疑问句借助动词did。
13.What time did you come back home last night, Judy?
14.Why did you come back so late?
单元话题
谈论能够与不能够。常用情态动词can与could。
如:He can speak English very well. / Can you sing an English song? Of course I can. / No, I can’t.
I can swim now, but I couldn’t do it when I was five.
2.  谈论生日。如:When is your birthday? May thirteenth. / He blew the candles out in one breath.
3.  描述物体的形状、尺寸等。如:What’s the shape of your present? It’s round/triangle/rectangle/square.
    How long is it? / How wide is it?  It’s 24 /6 centimeters long / wide.
谈论过去的经历。
