1. He is fun and he is a good friend.
Fun “乐趣”为不可数名词 What fun it is to go skating!
2. rescue + n. + from + n. 从….中解救
e.g. The fireman rescued a baby from the burning house. 消防员从着火的房子中解救出一格婴儿。
3. look after 照顾 Who will look after the dog when you leave home?
Look at 看（强调动作） Look at the blackboard, please.
Look up 查（字典） I look the word up to the dictionary.
Look around 四处看看 She looked around but couldn’t find anything she liked.
Look for 寻找 She is looking for her key but she hasn’t found it yet.
4. danger 危险
In danger 在危险中 e. g. She is in danger of losing her life. 她生命垂危。
Out of danger 脱离险境
Dangerous adj.
It is dangerous to do sth. 做…..是很危险的
It is dangerous to play fireworks in the street.
5. You must bring him to our clinic if he is sick. 如果她生病，你必须带她来我们的诊所。
Must 情态动词，必须
You must finish reading all these books. 你必须看完这些书。
Must I finish reading all these books? Yes, you must. No, you needn’t.
对于 must I (we)…..? 这类句子的否定回答要用needn’t. 因为mustn’t 意为禁止。
Must 和have to 都解释为必须，但must 表示说话人的主观意见，have to表示客观需要，指不得已而为之，must没有人称和数的变化，have to的过去时为had to, 将来时为will have to
e.g. You must stop smoking. (个人主观要求)
You have to stop smoking. (客观环境的要求)
He had to hurry up or he would be late. (他必须赶快，否则要迟到了)
