1. Take a look. They’re great. 看一看，他们很棒的。
take a look 意为“看一看，瞧一瞧”，相当于have a look。
I’d like to take a look at the card. 我想看看这张卡。
Have a good look at the piano. 请好好看一看这架钢琴。
2 How much do the cards cost? 这些卡片值多少钱？
cost 指“花费（钱）；价值”，主语是物。
The model costs ￥100. 这个模型价值100元。
How much do the tomatoes cost? 这些西红柿要花多少钱？
比较：spend 的意思是“花费（钱或时间），”主语是人。
I spend half an hour watching news every day. 每天我花半小时看新闻。
He spent $10 on the tennis racket. = He spent $10 buying the tennis racket. 他花了10美元买这个网球拍。
3. That’s quite expensive. 那相当贵。
expensive 指“昂贵的”，其同义词是dear, 反义词是cheap。
The lantern is too expensive. I can’t afford it. 这盏灯太贵，我买不起。
4. There’s a discount on last year’s cards. 去年的卡片有优惠。
He bought this pair of glasses at a 20% discount. 他以8折买了这副眼镜。
Do you give any discount on the shoes? 这些鞋有优惠吗？
5. they match her favourite T-shirt! ……它们和她最喜欢的T恤衫很相配。
match指“与……相配”。
The story doesn’t match the picture. 这个故事与这幅图画不相符。
I want to find a tie to match your suit. 我想找一条和你的西装搭配的领带。
6. Never mind! 没关系／不要紧。
—I’m sorry to keep you waiting so long. 很抱歉让你久等了。
—Never mind. 没关系。
7. look for/find look for 强调寻找过程，find强调寻找结果。
I’ve looked for my keys everywhere. But I can’t find them. 我到处找钥匙，但没找到。
8. flower shop, shoe shop, toy shop的复数加在shop上。e.g. flower shops. flower, shoe, toy在这里是名词作定语。
注：sports shop, clothes shop是例外。

一、根据句后的解释写出句子中所缺的单词。
