课题 2A Unit5 At the market
教材分析
本单元的主要教学内容是“认物”。主要学习句型What are these? They are…《牛津小学英语1A》第六单元中已经出现过What’s this? It’s…句型。在教学中，教师可以采用以旧带新的方法，引出What are these? They are…并创设相应的情景对句子进行强化训练。
本单元出现了四个蔬菜类单词的单数形式，而在句型的操练和运用中，这些单词要以复数形式出现，由此涉及到了词形和读音的变化。因此在教本单元单词的过程中，教师在帮助学生读准、读好这些单词的基础上，呈现它们的复数形式，以适应本单元句型操练的需要。在教学中，教师还要创设一些购物的情景，使语言的学习变得更生活化。
课时安排 4课时
Period1 Learn to say
教学目标：
1. 复习句型What’s this? It’s …，能听懂What are these ? 并能根据情况用 They are …来回答。
2. 能听懂、会说、初步认读carrot的单数和复数形式，同时掌握蔬菜水果文具类的单词复数形式。
2.教学重难点：
1. 能听懂What are these ? 并能根据情况用 They are …来回答。
能正确听、说、使用已经学过的一些单词的复数形式，发音正确。
教学过程：
Step1 Revision
1. T：出示《牛津小学英语1A》Unit 5 Fruit 一课中的水果或实物，复习学过的水果单词
T：What’s this?           Ss：It’s a mango.
T：Is this a pear?          Ss：Yes it is.
通过游戏让学生来摸一摸，猜水果
S1：Is this a banana?                T： No, it isn’t.
S1：What’s this?                   T：Look，it’s a carrot.
T：Where is the carrot？
2.  T：给出市场的图片 It’s at a market. Let’s go to the market, OK?(做出要去市场的姿势)
Ss：OK. Let’s go.
T：老师领读课题market            Ss：全体跟读market
T：at a market (引出课题)
Step2 Presentation
1. T：Look, it’s a carrot. (教师领读新单词，学生跟读)
T：c-a-r-r-o-t , carrot, carrot               Ss：c-a-r-r-o-t, carrot, carrot
2. T：We’re at a market. How many carrots can you see? Let’s count!
  Look, a carrot, 2 carrots…, 7 carrots! (要求学生一起数，在和老师一起数的过程中来感受复数的概念, 注意复数的发音)
Ss and T：1 carrot, 2 carrots -------7 carrots
T：领读复数形式，注意“s”的发音
Step3 Practice
1. 练习说carrot的复数：One carrot, 2 carrots, 3 carrots, they’re carrots.
2. 让学生用学过的文具类单词练习名词的复数形式
e. g. One book, two books, three books, they’re books.
    One pencil, two pencils, three pencils, they are pencils.
Step4 Learn to say
1. 老师拿出水果蔬菜的图片各一个运用句型What’s this? 进行询问，学生运用句型It’s …进行
抢答。
2. 老师拿出两个或两个以上的文具进行提问
T：What are these? (近指)
Ss：They’re pencils /bags /rubbers /rulers.
3. 出示新句型的板书 What are these?
T；领读 these                 Ss：these
T：What are these?             Ss：What are these?
Step5 Consolidation
结合以前学过的蔬菜水果文具类单词，要求学生分小组操练句型What’s this?和What are these?
  S1：What’s this?                  S2：It’s  …

Step5 Homework
1. 听录音，朗读所学单词，做到会读。
2. 试着用句型What are these? They’re…与同学说说自己熟悉的物品。

Period2 Look and learn
教学目标：
1. 能听懂、会说、初步认读carrot, bean, tomato和 potato 这四个单词的单数和复数形式，发音正确 。
2. 能听懂What are these ? 并能根据情况用 They’re…来回答。
教学重难点：
1. 能听懂并且能拼读B部分的四个单词carrot, bean, tomato和 potato以及它们的复数形式，并能说出已经学过的一些物品的复数形式。
2. 能根据实际情况运用句型What’s this?或What are these?对物品进行询问，同时能用句型It’s …
They’re… 进行正确的回答。
教学过程：
Step1 Revision
1. 通过猜老师所带包中的物品，来复习已学的单词carrot
T：Look, I have a big bag today. 拿出带着的大包
     What are these in the bag?
学生摸一摸然后猜一猜，
S1：They’re bananas.                   S2：They’re mangoes.
S3：They’re carrots.                    T：Yes. You are right.
2. 让学生互相问一问（一个学生拿着文具，另一个学生闭着眼睛摸一摸回答）
S1：What’s this?                       S2：It’s …
S1：What are these?                    S2：They’re…
Step2 Look and Learn
1. 给出半张图片让学生来猜
T：Look, what’s this?                 S1：Sorry, I don’t know.
T: Look, it’s a bean.( 教师领读新单词，学生跟读)
T：b-e-a-n, bean, bean
Ss：b-e-a-n, bean, bean
2. T:：Who can count the beans?
S1：1 bean, 2 beans, 3 beans…, 7 beans . 在这一过程中允许学生犯错，老师可以适时地纠正。
T：Well done!
  
3. 教授新单词tomato 和potato 以及它们的复数形式，让孩子找一找tomato和potato复数的共同点是加es，再添上单词mango的复数形式mangoes，注意es的发音/z/。
板书 ： a tomato—— tomatoes     a potato—— potatoes       a mango—— mangoes

1. 老师带领学生练习B部分四个单词的复数
One carrot, 2 carrots, 3 carrots, they’re carrots.
One bean, 2 beans, 3 beans, they’re beans.
One tomatoes, 2 tomatoes, 3 tomatoes, they’re tomatoes.
One potatoes, 2 potatoes, 3 potatoes, they’re potatoes.
2. Say a rhyme
T：OK, now let’s chant!

One for Liu Tao
One for Joe.
3. 让学生对歌谣进行改编 (单词可以替代成beans, tomatoes, potatoes, 最后两句的人名可以换成其他人名)
4. 全班分成四组来朗读
Group1的学生集体朗读carrots的歌谣
Group2的学生集体朗读 beans的歌谣
Group3的学生集体朗读 tomatoes的歌谣
Group4的学生集体朗读 potatoes的歌谣
5. 要求学生在小组中进行对话练习

1. 听磁带跟读 A, B两部分五遍，拼读B部分单词。.

Period3 Sing a song
教学目标：
通过复习，能听懂、会说、认读单词carrot, bean, tomato和 potato 的单数和复数形式，同时能灵活 
  运用句型What are these ? 并能根据情况用 They’re …来回答。
2. 能会唱C部分的歌曲At a market。
3. 能比较顺利地完成《活动手册》Unit5的习题。
教学重难点：
能正确听、说、使用新单词carrot, bean, tomato和 potato 的复数形式。
能运用What are these ? 并能根据情况用 They are …来回答。
3. 会唱歌曲At a market并理解歌词。
教学过程：

1. 老师出示图片和学生一起复习本单元的单词
  T：What are these?                       S1：They’re carrots.

  T：What are these?                       S3:：They’re tomatoes.

2. 学生之间指着P23的单词图片进行互相问答

 Step2 Sing a song
这首歌曲与本单元的教学内容结合紧密，而且简单易学，可按照以下步骤进行教学：
1. 听录音，学歌词，按节奏读歌词。
2. 播放录音，师生一起跟着录音唱，边唱边做动作，以加深对歌曲内容的理解。
3. 老师带着学生唱。
4. 学生齐唱歌曲。
5. 小组练习，老师进行指导，然后小组比赛唱，声音响亮且发音准确的小组获胜。
6. 在学生能熟练演唱的基础上，教师鼓励和引导学生对本歌曲进行适当的替换或改编，如将歌词中的   
  carrots, beans, tomatoes, potatoes替换成apples, bananas, pears, mangoes。

A Listen and circle
   本练习中的每道题都有a, b, c三幅图片。要求学生根据所听到的内容，选出录音中所提到的蔬菜图片，并圈出所听到的内容。在做此题前，教师先带领学生认读图片中的蔬菜。
B Listen and number
 本练习提供了六幅场景图片，要求学生根据所听到的顺序，为六幅图片标出序号。在做此题前，教师先让学生仔细看图，组织学生用What’s this /that? It’s ... What re these? They’re... Is this /that ...? Yes, it is. /No, it isn’t.等说说各幅图片，然后完成练习。
C Read and match
   本练习提供了四幅蔬菜的图片和四个词语，要求学生将所给词语与相应的图片连接起来。在做此题前，教师先带领学生复习本单元相关词汇，组织同桌看图问答。再做此项练习。
D Look and say
   本练习提供了一个儿子和妈妈逛农贸市场的场景。要求学生在理解图意的基础上，根据气泡中的提示句型来设计对话并表演。教师先带领学生用相关句型复习图中出现的水果和蔬菜。教师与个别学生示范对话，再全班操练。学生在能够熟练说的基础上让学生分组表演对话。表演时注意语言流畅，表情真实自然。例如：
  A：Look, what are these?
  B：They’re bananas.
  A：I like bananas.

1. Revise Part A and Part B in Unit5.
2. Listen to the tape and sing the song At a market on Page24 five times.


 




Period4 Play a game
教学目标：
1. 复习本单元所学单词、句型以及歌曲，并能在实际的情景中正确运用本单元所学的内容。
2. 会做D部分的Play a game并完成《补充习题》Unit5的内容。
教学重难点：
1. 能正确运用学过的句型What’s this? 和What are these?并根据实际情景正确使用单词的的单复数进行回答。
2. 复习本单元所学过的单词以及句型并会做D部分的游戏。
教学过程：
Step1 Revision
1. Sing the song At a market together.
2. Sing the song At a market in groups.  
3. Sing the song At a market in pairs.
4. Sing the song At a market one by one.
Step2 Play a game
  这是一个套圈游戏。要求学生在套中某些东西后，用What are these?来询问其他学生自己套中大的是什么东西。在活动时，可以采用以下步骤：
  1. 教师可以自带一些蔬菜、水果、文具用品等不同种类的物品，也可让学生带些相应的物品。
  2. 教师先做这个游戏，示范讲解活动要求。
3. 在活动中，教师不必局限于使用What are these?进行询问，也可根据情况引导学生用What’s this?进行询问。如学生套中了一支铅笔，可让学生问What’s this?其他学生回答It’s the pencil.
4. 组织学生开展小组游戏活动。
