二、教学目标:
1、知识目标:熟练掌握B部分出现的有关周末活动的动词短语和一般将来时。
2、技能目标:熟练运用be going to表达计划或打算。
3、情感目标:保持英语学习的兴趣,能用一般将来时进行英语交流。
三、教学难点
灵活运用所学句型进行交际。 四、课前准备:
?第六单元相关的磁带, PPT,习题纸, 课文挂图 五、教学过程:
Step1. Warming up
1. Greetings.
2. Review part A
T: Last lesson, we learned Unit6 Planning for the weekend Part A. Let’s review it together. (出示课文挂图) What’s the weather like today ?
S1: It’s warm and sunny.
T: What are Gao Shan and David talking about?
S2: They are talking about the plans for the weekend.
T: What is Gao Shan going to do on Saturday afternoon?
S3: He is going to see a Beijing Opera with his dad.
T: What is David going to do on Sunday afternoon?
S4: He is going to play the violin at the concert.
Retell Part A according to the key words.
Step2. Presentation
1. T: Just now we talked about Gao Shan and David’s plans for the weekend. How about their classmates? What are they going to do? Here are some hints for you.
(出示字幕与图片) It's a fine day today. Ben, Jim, Lucy and Lily prepare something to eat and drink. What are they going to do?
  S: They're going to have a picnic.(新授)
  T: I have a question for you. What do we need for a picnic?
  S: We need some plates, some bread, a tin-opener, some soft drinks... T: When you are going to have a picnic, you should take away your rubbish and   
    keep the place clean.
2. T: Look at these children. They also have a big bag with them. Are they going to have a picnic?
S: No, they aren't. They are going to go on an outing. (新授)
T: By the way, where are they going to go on an outing?
S: In the mountain.
T: When you are going to go on an outing, your safety is the most important.
3. T: Xiao Ming has got two tickets for the theatre. What is he going to do this weekend?
   S: He is going to see a play(新授)
   T: Would you like to join him?
   S: Yes, I'd love to.
4. T: There's a sports meeting in the school. Wang Lei is good at jumping. What is he going to do this weekend?
S: He is going to take part in the sports meeting. (新授)
T: The boy in green is Wang Lei. Can you guess how far he can jump?
S: 4 meters/3 meters...
T: Maybe, good luck to him.
5. T: Look at this beautiful girl. She is Gao Shan's classmate Fangfang. She is good at singing. What is she going to do?
  S: She is going to take part in the singing contest.
  T: Do you know any other contests?
  S: dancing/swimming/climbing ...contest
  T: Fangfang is going to sing a song. Let's listen to her song.
  S:(watch the flash" Will you join me?")
6. T: Just now we talked about Gao Shan's classmates' plans for their weekends. How about you? At the weekend, we can do a lot of the things. We have different weekend activities. First, let’s play a game "Brain Storm".
S: go fishing, fly kites, play chess, sing a song, listen to music...
T: Well done. We can do so many things at the weekend. Now, let's talk about our plans for the weekend.
Step3. Practice
Practice with the partner about the plan for the weekend.
T: Two weeks later, May day is coming. What's your plan for May Day?
  S: On the first day, I am going to ...On the second day, I am going to ...
3. T: You have a wonderful plan for May Day. Will Liu Tao join you? What is he   going to do? Open your book and turn to P50. Look at the picture carefully and get some information.
  S: Perhaps Liu Tao is going to the library, and maybe Gao Shan is going to the library…
  T: Read the text by yourselves and listen to the tape carefully.
  S: Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks.
Check the answers.
Step4. Summary
1. Make a summary about what we learned in this lesson.
