一、教学内容：讲述正在发生的事情，描述照片或图片中的活动情景。
二、设计理念
    采用任务型教学，让学生在教师的指导下通过感知、体验、实践、参与和合作等方式完成教学目标。在设计本课时从激发和保持学生的学习兴趣入手，精心创设生活化语言情景，开展丰富多彩的活动，指导学生进行语言交流，感受用英语交流的乐趣和成功感，从而培养学生用英语进行交流的能力。
教材分析    本课的故事是讲述：一个孩子坐在火车上，正通过手机和自己在车站上的好朋友通电话。在电话中，他向好友讲述着正在发生的事情和自己看到的景物。
四、教学目标(Teaching objectives)
   1.知识目标(Knowledge Aim)：
         学习目标语句(Sentences）：I am on the train.  I'm looking out of the  window.  A man is wearing a big hat and a raincoat.
           学习单词 、短语：wear, wrong, train，out of,  hill,
           学一首歌谣。             
   2. 能力目标(Ability Aim)：能口头运用I am on the train. I'm looking out of the window.向不在场的人描述所看到的场景，培养学生运用新句型描述正在发生的事。能识别单词 、短语：train，out of, window，hill，并能书写单词：train，window 
   3.情感目标：增强小组合作意识,激发学习的乐趣.
五、教学重、难点
    1、重点(Teaching focus)：能口头运用I am on the train. I'm looking out of the window.向不在场的描述所看到的场景。能识别单词 、短语：train，out of, window，hill，并能书写单词：train，window 
    2、难点(Teaching difficulties)：掌握和熟练运用所学语言知识。

七、教学过程（Teaching procedures）

Step 1  Warm up
Greetings.
2.Sing a song: What do you want to eat?
3. Play a game: What am I doing?
T: These verbs or phrases, ask the students to do.
S 1(先选词做动作，然后向同学提问)Act then asks： What am I doing?
Ss: You’re …ing…
S1: Yes , I'm.../No, I'm not... "

 Step 2 The text presents and import
T: Get several students to do and the students answer.
T: Making a postcard. Then ask: “What am I doing?”
Ss: You’re making postcards. (引导Ss 回答)。
T: Today we’ll talk about postcards.

Step 3  Text teaching
1.T: Show the pictures and listen. (twice)(提醒学生注意小图部分对应的内容)
2.Ss: Underline the new words.
3.T: Explain.
4.Ss: Read the words and spell them.
5.Game: Spell the words in groups work.
6.Ss: Listen and read the text. Then Act it out.
7.Learning the poem.

Step 4  Practice
1.Talk about photos. (谈论正在发生的事。)
2.Do the exercise of unit 2 in pairs.

 Step 5 To complete the task
1.Do the exercises:AB unit2,exercises3(提醒学生变换动词形式。For example:shine--shining, swim--swimming, jump--jumping,..)
2.根据老师的描述画图并讲述。
3.使用学过的动词进行“猜动作”游戏。
