一、Warm-up
Play an English song: I love you. 
Sing an English song: Father and mother
Revise the words in Unit3.
Guess the riddle: I’m a little duck. This man is my uncle’s brother, but I never call him uncle. Who is this man? The Ss answer: This is your father. The teacher says: Right, this is my father. 
二、Presentation
The teacher introduce the content of the picture, tell the story.
Practice the dialogue: Cat: Hello, Duck, who is he?
Duck: He is my father.
Duck’s father: Hello, Cat. How old are you?
Cat: I’m six. Who is she?
Duck: She’s my mother.
Listen to the tape and read the dialogue.
三、Practice
Act out the dialogue in Partners.
2.  Revise the ten words in Unit3.
四、Homework 
Listen to the tape in Lesson13-18.
