Step 1 Revision
1. Play a game: Say the numbers one by one. And then numbers some pupils and listen to the teacher. When the pupils listen their numbers, he/she must stand up. The right one are the winners.
2. Say the chant.
Step 2 The new lesson
1. First the teacher shows a card: What’s thirteen and twenty? Ask the class to answer. Help them and teach the new words.
2. To learn forty and fifty by same way.
3. Practice three numbers by adding.
4. Before listen to the tape, ask the question: How many students are
there in your class?
5. Play the tape. Following the tape and practice this dialogue in groups. Ask some groups to act it out.
Step 3 Practice
1.Ask and answer by showing some pictures or objects.

2.Let’s count in three pupils. Maybe you can explain the meaning with in threes.
3.Write down the new words on the blackboard.
4.Read them by themselves.
