Step 2  Presentation and drill.
1.  Look at the computer.
2.  Teach the new words: dictionary, bookstore, a dirty mark, useful, enough, sell, schoolbag.
3.  Drill the new words.
4.  Make the sentences using the new words.
Step 3 Listen and read
1.  Listen to the recording.
2.  Understand the text.
3.  Answer the question about the story.
① What did Anne see in a bookstore?
Anne saw a dictionary in a bookstore.
    ② Did she have enough money to buy it?
No, she did not have enough money to buy it.
③ Was the dictionary useful enough?
   Yes, it was.
④ Was the dictionary small enough?
   Yes, it was.
⑤ Did the shopkeeper change the price?
   Yes, the shopkeeper changed the price.
⑥ Did Anne buy the dictionary in the end?
   Yes, Anne bought the dictionary in the end.
4.  Read after the tape sentence by sentence.
5.  Read in group.
Step 4  action.
Get students to act in front of the class.
Step 5  Homework
1.   Listen and read.
2.   Write the new words.

Paul and tom wanted to buy a toy. They went to a toy shop and saw a big plane. It was fifty yuan. That was too expensive. The children had not enough money and it was too big. They did not buy the plane. They saw an old car. The car was too old. Tom did not like it. Then they saw a robot. It was five yuan. That was cheap enough  .the children liked it and they bought it at once.

  The dictionary’s pride is 50 yuan. Anne wanted to buy a dictionary but she did not have enough money.
T: What did Mrs Chen want to buy.
S: Mrs chen wanted to buy a camera.
T: Did she have enough money?
S: Yes. She did.
S: Mrs chen wanted to buy a camera. She has enough money.
Step 4 Practise.
Write down the key on the book.
Step 5 Do their exercises.
