Step one :review
review the words have learnt in unit one
a toy truck  a toy jeep   a toy  a digger
building blocks  a robot 
At last put the picture "robot"on the blackboard
T: This is a robot. I can make a robot.
      Do you believe it ? Please look here.
     (show them a robot made of  shapes )
Step two: presentation
     1.it's a robot. It a nice robot.
       Point to his head:
      T: It's his ...(children) head
      T: head. (take it away.)  What shape ?
      T: it's a square.
     (if someone knows it ,let him/her tell us)
2.please find other square,please.
When they fine one they can get a sticker(a shape)
let's see how many squares ? Let's count 1 2 3..
      T: How many? Children:( say the number)
  4. The same way to learn the others
     Eye--waht shape ---circle
     Ear--what shape ---triangle
     Leg--what shape ---rectangle
     Hand--what shape---heart
     Foot--what shape---diamond
Step three: practice
1.T: Just now we have learnt 5 shapes.
 Now do you know you want to play with me/
I can make a circle with my finger. Can you?
Look! Let me tell you . Show your fingers.
Make the gesture follow to the teacher.
what other shape can you make with your fingers
      Please try
please show us (if they did they can get a shape)
Step four:assessment
1.now let's see how many shapes do  you have
2. How many squares (circles, triangles, 
                      rectangles , hearts)
Step five: additional activities
     1.play the tape and listen to it
     2.repeat after the recorder
     3.do listen and point
     4. Look around and find the shape

通过前一单元的单词的复习,展示教师的作品,引起学生的兴趣。

Step one :review
        1.teacher take some shapes envelopes and say
          there  are some gift in them
         Every group will get one and then you can open
         It and see what in it.
        2.play the tape and listen to the chant
Step two: presentation
        1.look at the word cards
          Read them as quickly as they can
        2. Miss game:
           Close the eyes and teacher take one away
           Children find it out quickly
        3.eyesight test

      1.read the words and put them under the right

学生基本做到:听音、看图、指出5种基本图象图形,认读相应的单词diamond,square,rectangle,triangle,heart。学生借助图画和录音,了解歌谣内容,初步说出5种形状的英语单词,并表演歌曲
通过说唱活动培养学生的英语语感。通过动手、动脑的活动培养学生的观察能力、思维能力、语言能力及想象创造能力。

教学重点
Master the words of the shapes认识长方形、正方形、三角形和圆以及它们的基本特征,能判断一个图形或物体的某一面是不是长方形、正方形、三角形或圆,建立初步的空间观念。

教学难点
准确地用英语说出5种图形的名称并能准确认识相对英语单词

Step two: presentation

 What shape can you draw.(do this with finger in air)

3.show their pictures at the front
4.sing the song

     Can you find some triangles in our classroom?
     Can you find a circle around us?
     Can you find rectangles in our classroom?
     Can you find square in our classroom?
Step five: additional activities
    A triangle has three sides and three angles
Circles are round. Circles don’t have any straight
  sides or angles
A rectangle has four sides. These two sides are the
  same. And the others are the same, too.
A rectangle has four angles. All the angles are
 right angles.
All the sides are the same size. So we call it  
square.Square is a special rectangle.

培养学生的动手能力

 从生活中找图形,学生感觉亲切,能激发他们的学习兴趣,激活他们已有的知识经验。让新知识以“新朋友”的身份出现,让学生在心理放松的环境下进入学习状态。

让学生了解世界上最稳固的图形是三角形正方形是一种特殊的菱形奥运五环旗,中国国旗和08年奥运会的一些知识。
